Outstanding Steaks – a Ricardo’s Tradition

Ricardo’s Restaurant was opened in 1948 by two brothers. Their dedication to serving the finest steaks possible has been carried on for more than 75 years. Their steaks are hand-cut, grain fed western beef, cooked to tender, juicy perfection. Hearty Italian fare compliments the casual feel of this fine dining establishment. Their reputation for outstanding service and superb food is known across the country.

Chef Peter West began with Ricardo’s in 1968 and purchased the restaurant in 1989. Many of our patrons loved seeing Pete on a regular basis. His unique personality was one-of-a kind. Sadly, Pete passed away in 2022, but his memory and his recipes live on.

After working closely with her Dad for many years, Beth took over full time ownership of Ricardo’s Restaurant a few months before his passing. Beth has carried on the traditions of top-quality menu items, fair pricing and customer-first service. She is proud to run one of Erie’s best-loved restaurants.
